Jeremy Irons, the actor who played Alfred in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, isn't afraid to admit the film's flaws.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, Irons says that the film deserved a kicking from critics but it still made a lot of money.
"I'm tied into The Batman at the minute [the next installment, Justice League Part One, is due next year], which is nice because it's a bit of income," Irons said.
Irons continued, possibly revealing the title of Ben Affleck's solo Batman film: "I'm tied into The Batman at the minute [the next installment, Justice League Part One, is due next year], which is nice because it's a bit of income"
In Batman v Superman, Alfred isn't just a Butler, but he's also a highly-trained soldier, and here's what Irons said about his role:
"If I was Mr and Mrs Wayne and I had a young son I thought could be kidnapped, killed or whatever because of his wealth, I'd make sure his guardian – his tutor, his mate – was somebody pretty capable," Irons said.
