Jason Isaacs Says Racist Star Trek Fans Can Go 'F-ck Themselves'

Jason Isaacs, who plays Captain Lorca in Star Trek: Discovery, doesn't hold back when it comes to taking down trolls. At a New York Comic Con press release on Saturday, the former Lucius Malfoy actor addressed racist trolls on Twitter who bash the show for having Sonequa Martin-Green as the first black woman to lead a Star Trek series.

"They can go fuck themselves," Isaacs says.

Julia Alexander of Polygon reported the moment in a tweet and writes that Isaacs was discussing diversity and representation when he touched the topic.

Martin-Green responded to the criticisms herself to Entertainment Weekly:

I would encourage them to key into the essence and spirit of "Star Trek" that has made it the legacy it is — and that's looking across the way to the person sitting in front of you and realizing you are the same, that they are not separate from you, and we are all one.

This isn't the first time Isaacs called out fans for being rude.

Don't mess with Lucius Malfoy or Captain Lorca.

Star Trek: Discovery is now available to stream on CBS All Access, and new episodes will be available on demand weekly after 8:30 PM ET on Sundays. In some countries, Star Trek: Discovery is available to stream on Netflix.
