Jason David Frank Will Reportedly Appear in the New Power Rangers Movie

The first look at Goldar in the upcoming Power Rangers film was bashed by fans, and the images of the villain started with Blake Foster on his Instagram page which motivated him to share some news about the film. By the way, Foster is the actor who played Justin Stewart/Blue Ranger in the Power Rangers Turbo series.

It sounds like Foster has a bit of insider info about the film because during the argument, he said, "you don't even know bro but JDF is in it so don't come on my page trying to bash people."

JDF stands for Jason David Frank, who was introduced as Tony, the Green Rangers in the Mighty Morphin series. He eventually became the White Ranger, and appeared in Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers DinoThunder andPower Rangers Turbo.

It was also announced that a sequel in the form of a comic book will be released, IGN reports. It will be called Power Rangers: Aftershock, and it will be published by BOOM! Studios, and will be released 5 days after the Power Rangers movie will be released. Power Rangers: Aftershock was written by Ryan Parrott (Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, Batman: Gates of Gotham) and illustrated by Lucas Werneck.

The comic's story takes place "immediately after the events of the movie and continues the adventures of Jason, Kimberly, Trini, Zack, and Billy." You can read more about the comic here.

The Power Rangers movie will be released in theaters on March 24, and the comic book will be released on March 29.
