James Gunn Reveals Why [SPOILER] Wasn't in Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War was huge, there's no doubt about that. It fit so many characters into its running time that the few who didn't make it weren't noticed by fans or forgotten about entirely. One character fans didn't forget about - aside from Valkyrie and Korg - was Kraglin, who seems to have joined the Guardians after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Thankfully, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has confirmed that Kraglin, played by his brother Sean Gunn, isn't dead and will return for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

On Twitter, Gunn stated that Kraglin had important things to do and all will be revealed soon enough. While Guardians Vol. 3 seems to be the easiest bet, there is also a small chance that he will appear in Avengers 4. In the end, fans will just be happy seeing Kraglin pal around with the other Guardians, though Drax is probably still pissed about that arrow incident.

Kraglin isn't the only missing character confirmed to be alive. The Russos revealed that Valkyrie is very much alive, her fate just hasn't been brought up yet. Thor did mention Thanos killing half of his people, so it's possible that the other half escaped with Valkyrie and maybe even Korg. We still don't know where Sif is though.

Avengers: Infinity War is now showing in theaters.
