James Bond 25 Taken Over By Christopher Nolan's Syncopy

Well, this is some good news. After the disappointing reception of the latest Bond movie, Spectre, James Bond 25 has apparently been taken over by Christopher Nolan's production company Syncopy. This comes from Birth.Movies.Death's Phil Noble Jr.

Here's his tweet:

This is absolutely great news, and could mean something great for the future of the Bond franchise. The production company was responsible for giving us cinematic gems like The Dark Knight, The Prestige, and Inception, so a Bond movie under the Syncopy banner wouldn't be anything short of spectacular.

When you think about it, Bond is kind of like Batman with all his gadgets and kooky villains — he just has no qualms about killing people, and he works on all hours of the day, without a mask.

This is pretty exciting. I don't know if Nolan is still too busy with Dunkirk, but I would definitely love it if her were to direct the movie. Sure he may just want to be a producer for Bond 25, but he did produce Man of Steel, and that didn't turn out to be too great — then again, it could've been Zack Snyder's fault.

No official release date has been set for James Bond 25.
