Wheel of Time Showrunner Teases The Script For The First Episode

The Wheel of Time TV series is coming (probably sooner than George R.R. Martin's The Winds of Winter novel), and now, the show's screenwriter Rafe Judkins, has teased the script for the first episode of the epic fantasy series based on Robert Jordan's fantasy novels of the same title.

Judkins took it to Twitter to tease the first episode by sharing a photo of the script, and the image reveals that the first episode is titled Leavetaking, which is the name of four separate chapters in four separate books within The Wheel of Time book series. The first book released in the franchise, The Eye of the World, has that chapter.

Earlier this year, Amazon started developing the series based on The Wheel of Time. It was also revealed that Judkins had been hired as the showrunner and Sony Pictures Television would serve as the production studio.

Release dates and casting details for The Wheel of Time TV series haven't been announced yet but we'll update you here on Epicstream once we find out about it.
