The latest trailer for Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set War of the Spark amazed fans with its fantastic animation and Linkin Park's In the End (Jung Youth & Fleurie remix) that gave an exciting look at the set's epic storyline. Thanks to the trailer, Christine Sprankle felt inspired to get back to Magic: The Gathering cosplay after she quit back in 2017.
Over on Twitter, she shared Raymon Swanland's art of Nicol Bolas and expressed her reaction to the epic War of the Spark trailer, saying, "After seeing the #MTGWAR trailer I feel inspired again and will be definitely coming back in a brand new big awesome cosplay!"
Sprankle, who was well-known for her MTG cosplays, appeared at MagicFests before but back in November 2017, she announced that she quit cosplay due to persistent harassment in the Magic community.
Sprankle pointed the blame to the YouTube channel UnsleevedMedia. On her now-deleted Instagram account, the cosplayer announced that she canceled her Grand Prix appearance and deleted her private Facebook account because she was "super tired of the harassment and would love to have some peace and quiet."

It's cool that Sprankle will cosplay again. The War of the Spark trailer, which featured Liliana facing Bolas, shows a badass side of one of the Magic characters Sprankle used to cosplay. Hopefully, she cosplays as Liliana again for future MagicFest or convention appearances. I still have an old photo of Sprankle as Liliana from Grand Prix Charlotte from a few years ago:

War of the Spark will be released on May 3, 2019. It's the third of a series of consecutive sets set in Ravnica and it will focus on the epic war between Nicol Bolas and the Gatewatch.
