John Williams' marvelous career includes a lot of recognizable and brilliant themes, but his work on the Star Wars films stands on the top of his resume, and I'm glad that we'll hear his music in The Force Awakens. Sony Classical just announced that they will be releasing the original soundtracks of the six Star Wars films in special editions. They haven't released any details about the Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack. They'll probably release that separately. Here are some details courtesy of The Playlist:
