Throne of Eldraine Planeswalker Decks Reveal New Magic: The Gathering Cards

Wizards of the Coast will be releasing two Throne of Eldraine Planeswalker Decks when the set comes out in October and they are:

1. Oko Planeswalker Deck (Blue/Green)

2. Rowan Planeswalker Deck (Red/White)

The Planeswalker decks are introductory supplemental products that each include a Planeswalker card but don't expect them to be as powerful as the ones you'd find in booster packs since these cards are designed for beginners, not for competitive players. Each deck is usually centered on a planeswalker and the decks are meant to teach basic mechanics to new players. These products contain a code that redeems its contents on Magic Arena.

Jeuxvideo revealed the exclusive cards from the Throne of Eldraine Planeswalker decks, and you can check them out below with their English translations:

Oko, The Trickster

+1: Put two +1/+1 counters on up to one target creature you control.

0: Until end of turn, ~ becomes the copy of target creature you control. Prevent all damage that would be dealt to it this turn. -7: Until end of turn, each creature you control has base power/toughness 10/10 and gains trample

Oko's Hospitality

Instant Creatures you control have power and toughness 3/3 until end of turn. You can search your library and/or graveyard for a card called ~Oko, reveal it and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

Fourbe de Roncefort

8: ~ has base power and toughness 10/10 until end of turn. Activate only if you control a Oko planeswalker.

Oko's Accomplices

Rowan Planeswalker deck

Rowan, Intrepid Sparkmage

+1: Up to one target creature gains +3/+0 and first strike until end of turn. -2: Rowan, Intrepid Sparkmage deals 1 damage to up to two target creatures. Those creatures cannot block this turn. -9: Gain control of all creatures until end of turn, untap them. They gain haste until end of turn.

Rowan's Valiant

When Rowan's Valiant enters the battlefield, search your library for Rowan, Intrepid Sparkmage, reveal it and add it to your hand. Shuffle your library.

Rowan's Bodyguard

Garrison Griffin

Flying Whenever Garrison Griffin attacks, target Knight you control gains flying until end of turn.

Wind-Scarred Crag

Wind-Scarred Crag enters the battlefield tapped. When Wind-Scarred Crag enters the battlefield, you gain 1 life. Tap: Add R or W.

These Planeswalker deck exclusives probably won't see Standard play, which isn't surprising since Planeswalker decks are not meant to be good anyway.

Throne of Eldraine, the 82nd Magic expansion, is set to release on October 4 (Tabletop), and September 26 on Magic Arena. Prerelease events will take place on September 27 to 29.
