Magic: The Gathering is about to take us to a Steampunk world with its upcoming September set.

Wizards of the Coast has announced several upcoming Magic: The Gathering products, and one of them is the September set called Kaladesh, which is set in Chandra's home plane, and it will debut at PAX Prime on September 2 before its official release on September 30, 2016. Its follow-up set will be called Aether Revolt, and will be released on January 20, 2017.

In addition to the Kaladesh block, Wizards also announced the Magic: The Gathering- Commander (2016 Edition) which feature four-color legendary commanders. Those products will be released on November 11, 2016. They also announced Planechase Anthology (November 25 release), Duel Decks: Nissa vs. Ob Nixilis (September 2 ), and the Draft Pack for Conspiracy --Take The Crown (August 26).

That's a lot of products for one huge announcement. Wizards ellaborated that they'll be making two major announcements like this each year (one in the Spring, and the other in Fall) to inform players about their upcoming products.

I'm glad that we're about to explore Chandra's Steampunk home plane. Based on what we've seen in Magic: Origins, it seems that Kaladesh will feature colored artifacts and themes of invention and imagination.
