On Saturday, Executive Produce Bryan Fuller revealed the official title for the new Star Trek series coming to CBS All Access in 2017: Star Trek Discovery. Fans were also treated with their first look at the U.S.S. Discovery, a new Starfleet ship for the franchise's long-awaited return. Check out the "test flight" teaser:
The news was announced at San Diego Comic-Con during Star Trek 50th anniversary panel that Fuller moderated. Actors from previous Trek series were there for the big reveal, including William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Jeri Ryan, and Scott Bakula.
