CBS has released a new promo clip for Star Trek: Discovery Season 2.
CBS released the new ad last night it teases that fans will be able to "discover a whole new trek" when Season 2 premieres in January.
The promo features what looks like an extended sequence of the Discovery crew trying to rescue survivors of the USS Hiawatha destruction. The clip also shows a shot of Spock (Ethan Pek) being treated by Discovery's medical team. The promo concludes with a shot of Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) in his Starfleet uniform asking if he sees a smile on Spock's face, to which the Vulcan replies with a "Yes."

Star Trek: Discovery is set to premiere on CBS Access on January 17, 2019.
