Someone Stole A Company's Boardgame & Tried to Kickstart It

A company who called itself White Helm Games had its Kickstarter campaign for a board game called Dungeon Hoard has now been cancelled because the tabletop game was already created by someone else.

The Kickstarter raised $388 of its $5500 goal from 21 backers but some potential backers noticed that Dungeon Hoardalready existed. The game was already created by the actual company called White Helm Games, and it's definitely not the same company running the Kickstarter.

It turns out that it was just an imposter stealing the game and pretending to be the company, and those who noticed quickly expressed their complaints in the Kickstarter, and the "creator" even replied to them.

Before Kickstarter could end the scam, the "creator" cancelled it after complaints rolled in, saying, "i canceled this compain because no one deserve + some of this kids who come and broke the project , for theese ppl who beleived ernest did u see his page verified? (blue badge) ?? because they lied to all of u :p."

Last night, the same scammer was caught starting a new campaign for another stolen game called

Christ is Born,

and

Kickstarter

cancelled it already.
