Many fans are still feeling the emotional pain after seeing several Marvel characters perish at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. While many of us are already recovering from the effects of Thanos' shocking "snap", all it takes is one heartless meme to bring up the painful memories.
Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. has taken it to Facebook to share a funny crossover meme that would make us weep over the loss of the fallen Avengers characters all over again.
That's pretty brutal. RDJ probably wouldn't post something like this if his character didn't survive Thanos' snap.
As you can see above, the meme features the famous exchange between Tony Stark and Loki at the end of the first Avengers film but also combines a shot from Pirates of the Caribbean but instead of Jack Sparrow holding the jar of dirt, it's the Mad Titan with the container of the Avengers' ashes.
I bet RDJ wouldn't post a meme like this after the events of Avengers 4.
Avengers 4 is set to release in theaters on May 3, 2019.
