New Trailer For The Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Film Features Emotional & Epic Footage

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist, and it features new footage that fans of the anime series would be familiar with. The trailer highlights the members of the homonculi: Lust, Greed, and Gluttony, but it looks like we'll see more of the rest of the villainous organization in the film. It's still hard for me to imagine how they could rightly adapt the whole anime's season into one feature film but it looks like they've managed to do it somehow. We get to see a glimpse of one of the final scenes in the anime as well as an emotional scene between Edward and Alphonse.

Fullmetal Alchemist is currently ranked #2 in my list of best anime shows I've seen, so I'm definitely checking this out. I just hope it won't be as disappointing as other anime live-action adaptations.

The live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film is set to debut at the Tokyo International Film Festival on October 25 before it premieres in Japan on December 1.
