Cartoon Network has announced that the series reboot of Powerpuff Girls will premiere on April 4, 2016 with back-to-back episodes starting at 6 p.m. ET, and after that, the channel will air new episodes every weekday through April 15 in the same time slot, ultimately leading to its regular weekly time, Thursdays at 6 p.m. beginning on April 21.

The South by Southwest festival in Austin will feature a premiere screening of the show, along with a pre-party and a Powerpuff Girls parade.

Tom Kenny will reprise his role in the new series as the voice the Narrator/Mayor, while the Powerpuff Girls will be voiced by Amanda Leighton (Blossom), Kristen Li (Bubbles), and Natalie Palamides (Buttercup).

I admit: I actually enjoyed watching this show when I was a kid, and I'd probably consider it as the best series in Cartoon Network. I love the show's sense of humor, and hopefully the new series will be as good.
