With the release of War of the Spark coming, there are some epic Magic: The Gathering art pieces from the set fetching high prices in auctions. Mythic Edition Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God by Matthew Stewart and Mythic Edition Ugin, the Spirit Dragon by Chris Rahn are now up for sale and their current bids are currently over $30,000.
Matthew Stewart, whose previous work includes Marchesa judge foil, Kor Firewalker, and Beast Whisperer, has put up his Mythic Edition Nicol Bolas, Dragon-Bod artwork for auction on the Mtg Art Market Facebook group, and it's open for one more week with a current high bid of $30,000.

Chris Rahn's Mythic Edition Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is now on auction on eBay until Saturday and the current bid is $35,100.

Noah Bradley's "Commence the Endgame" is also up on eBay and its current bid is $8,200. According to Redditor Banelingz, the reason this art is not fetching over $30,000 unlike the other two art pieces is that "Commence the Endgame" is not an actual dragon or planeswalker, it's just a card that happens to have planeswalkers in it. There are collectors who are willing to pay a higher price for art pieces that represent dragons and planeswalkers.

War of the Spark features a lot of amazing artworks that depict the climax of the Nicol Bolas story arc, so it's not surprising to see that these pieces are fetching a higher than usual prices.
The War of the Spark card set will be released on May 3, 2019. Prerelease events will take place on April 27-28. It will be available in digital version on Magic Arena on April 25.
