More Details For Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering's New Crossover Revealed

Last weekend, we reported about the new Dungeons & Dragons campaign book set in Theros, the Greek mythology-inspired Magic: The Gathering world, and it's titled Mythic Odysseys of Theros. On Sunday, Amazon posted its pre-order page for the book, which revealed a full synopsis of the book's contents. Mythic Odysseys of Theros will feature new subclasses, two new playable races (the Leonin and Satyr), a new Supernatural Gift ability that players can grant their character, signature artifacts from the world of Theros, and Mythic Monsters.

The new subclasses include the Bard's College of Eloquence and the Paladin's Oath of Heroism, which were first previewed in Unearthed Arcana playtests in 2019, so expect other Unearthed Arcana subclasses will be added to the game.

The synopsis for Mythic Odysseys of Theros confirms two playable races: the Leonin and Satyr. The Leonin is a race of antropomorphic lions, unique to MTG; Satyrs have appeared as a playable race in previous versions of D&D.
