The upcoming Magic: The Gathering set Throne of Eldraine is getting an ebook that will be released before previews of the cards begin. It's called Throne of Eldraine:The Wildered Quest, and it's written by Kate Elliott, author of the popular Nicol Bolas story that debuted with Core Set 2019. Wizards of the Coast has revealed the cover. Check it out:
Best known for her Crown of Stars epic fantasy series, Kate has been writing fantasy and science fiction for over 25 years. This will be Kate's second Magic story.
The ebook will be available in English for $3.99 everywhere Penguin Random House publishes ebooks, including Amazon, the Apple Store, and Barnes & Noble. You can preorder Wildered Quest beginning July 27 and the book will be released on September 4. The set is said to be inspired by the romantic Arthurian legend of Camelot and Grimms' Fairy Tales.
