Magic: The Gathering World Championship XXVI Teaser Released


The Magic World Championship XXVI will feature sixteen of the best tabletop Magic and MTG Arena players from across the world—including winners of the seven previous Mythic Championships—to battle it out for $1,000,000 in prizes and the title of best Magic player in the world! Now you can watch the teaser hyping up the big event that will take place on February 14-16, 2020 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

This will be the first Magic World Championship that will be played on MTG Arena, and with $300,000 awarded to the first place winner, this showdown will have the largest individual prize in Magic history. The teaser highlights victorious moments from previous major MTG Arena tournaments in 2019 while showing the various competitors that will battle it out at Magic's highest level of competition.

The 2018 Magic World Champion Javier Dominguez is already in the comopetition, and we already have the seven 2019 Mythic Championship winners locked in, including MCVII winner Pietr 'Kanister' Glogowski. Raphaël Lévy and Sebastian Pozzo recently locked for their spot by their Mythic Points this season. The other three competitors with a spot are Gabriel Nassif, Marcio Carvalho, and Chris Kvartek.
