This Black Lotus is from the limited-edition Alpha set, which was the very first printing of MTG cards ever made. The extremely rare card also received the highest possible grading from Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA 10). The closest one to reach that grading was for a PSA 9.5 Black Lotus which was sold for $200,000.

Spanish entrepreneur and YouTuber Romuald Fons has confirmed in a video that he was the one who purchased the $250K Black Lotus from Chang. In the video, he explains why he bought the most expensive MTG card ever sold on eBay, and says that he's happy with the deal.
