Wizards of the Coast and CFB Events have revealed the Magic: The Gathering formats for the upcoming MagicFests this year (Q4), and as you can below, a lot of the Grand Prix main events will be Standard or Limited, and there are only one Legacy and one Modern format for Q4 2019. However, it shows that MagicFest Portland is Constructed but the set is still unknown. Some are speculating it to be a supplemental set that will be released by December but Wizards of the Coast and CFB Events haven't shared any details about it yet.

There's a lot of Modern Grand Prix this summer so I can see why there's only one Modern MagicFest on Q4.

Core Set 2020 is set to be released on July 12, 2019. Core Set 2020 is also coming to Magic Arenaon July 2, with the preorder bundle for the set available now. The Core Set 2020 bundle in Arena includes a mythic rare Planeswalker card for Chandra as a bonus. Pre-release events will be held from July 5 to July 7.
