Magic: The Gathering head designer Mark Rosewater recently teased the possibility of Future Sight 2 after a fan asked if the second Modern Horizons set will be considered Planar Chaos 2 since the first Modern Horizons set was codenamed Time Spiral 2.

"There will most likely never be a Planar Chaos 2," Rosewater said on his Blogatog. "I'm not giving up on a Future Sight 2 though.

Future Sight was the final set of the Time Spiral block and it was released on May 4, 2007. The set was known for featuring cards that preview the future, and it also introduced the Tribal mechanic so I imagine that if Modern Horizons 2 will be released next year, it will probably focus more on themes that Future Sight had.

Modern Horizons will be released on June 14. Prerelease events will take place on June 8 and 9. The prerelease events will be Draft, not Sealed. Modern Horizons events on Magic Online start on June 6.
