Magic: The Gathering Double-Faced Foils Misprinted Foils From Brazil's Rivals of Ixalan Prerelease Events

The prerelease for Magic: The Gathering'sRivals of Ixalan Prerelease events are going on this whole weekend, and some players in Brazil are getting some misprinted foil double-faced cards from the new set. As Magic players know, the double-faced cards in Ixalan and Rivals of Ixalan can transform into a specific land but apparently, some cards they opened from the Prerelease events are flipping into the wrong lands.

Pro player Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa shared the news on his Twitter page:

"Apparently Prerelease double-faced foils all over Brazil have been misprinted," Paulo tweeted. "They flip into the wrong land! (e.g. Journey to Eternity, the BG flip, has Vault of Catlacan, the UR land, on the other side). Should be fun and thoroughly confusing."

Redditor Irasha12 also shared a clip of a player's Azor Gateway misprint:

As you can see, this copy of Azor's Gateway flips into Tomb of the Dusk Rose instead of Sanctum of the Sun.

And yes, they're technically playable in case you're wondering.

So far, it seems only Portuguese Rivals of Ixalan cards are getting misprinted like these.
