MagicFest Las Vegas, one of the biggest Magic: The Gathering events this year, is happening next month, and players of the Commander format will have a lot of reasons to celebrate in the MTG premium event.
Today, CFB Events has announced that MagicFest Las Vegas will have a Commander Celebration with special guests: Senior Wizards of the Coast designer Gavin Verhey, Jimmy and Josh from the Command Zone, Seth a.k.a. SaffronOlive, members of LoadingReadyRun, and MTG cosplayers. Plus, participants will get a "Sol Ring" promo with new art by Mark Tedin.
The Commander Celebration will offer passes for those who want to enjoy one of the most beloved formats in this 4-day event.
The Command Zone Pass offers 4 days access to the Command Zone with comfortable space, 4 On-Demand Commander Events, foil "Sol Ring" promo, and ChannelFireball deckbox.
The Commander Fanatic package includes a foil "Lightning Bolt" promo, Lightning Bolt Fanatic Playmat, 9 On-Demand Commander Events, and Scheduled Commander events.
On Friday night, there will be a Commander Party, and for $60, players can get a random Commander 2019 deck, door prizes, non-foil Sol Ring promo, CFB sleeves, drawstring bag, and deckbox. Plus, there will be a live Q&A with MTG Senior Designer Gavin Verhey.
MagicFest Las Vegas 2019 will happen on August 22-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The prize pool is $65,000, and the two main events are Modern and Limited (Modern Horizons).
