The War of the Spark Mythic Edition booster boxes went on sale on Hasbro's eBay store yesterday but many buyers got their orders canceled after being charged. It turns out that the products were sold out just minutes after they were made available on eBay but many were confused about the status of their orders, with many unsure if their orders were actually accepted or canceled.
Shortly after the buyers reported issues with their orders, the official Magic: The Gathering Twitter account explained that they were investigating issues with the orders and today, they released an update with eBay confirming that all 12,000 orders will be completed.
"WotC offered 12,000 of the MTG: War of the Spark Mythic Edition on Hasbro's eBay store earlier today," eBay wrote. "The set has sold out & all 12,000 completed orders will be fulfilled. Any subsequent orders will be cancelled & refunded. We apologize for the inconvenience."

The Mythic Edition boxes were sold for $249.99 USD each so with 12,000 orders confirmed, that's over $3 million spent. The demand clearly exceeded the supply so Wizards of the Coast will most likely release more than 12,000 boxes for the future Mythic Edition releases.
The War of the Spark Mythic Edition is a draft-sized special booster box (24 packs) that contains packs with premium planeswalkers. The special booster packs with the premium planeswalkers will be clearly marked and the eight planeswalkers for the War of the Spark Mythic Edition include Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Ugin, the Spirit Dragon, Gideon Blackblade, Tezzeret, the Seeker, Garruk, Apex Predator, Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, Nahiri, the Harbinger, and Sarkhan, the Unbroken.
