You will need an Epic Games Store account to download the macOS client, but players will be able to play against each other regardless of which version they use.

Here are the macOS minimum requirements:

OS: macOS X/10 (64-bit Intel)
Processor: Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB
Graphics: 1024MB VRAM
Resolution: 1280 x 720 minimum display resolution

The plan to bring MTG Arena on macOS was announced at Gamescom last year.

Magic head designer Mark Rosewater previouslysaid that he doesn't play Arena often because of "a combination of not having a lot of free time and owning nothing but Macs."

While I'm still going to be mainly playing and streaming MTG Arena on PC, I plan to download the game on my Macbook, so I can have the option to play it on my laptop.

Are you going to play MTG Arena on macOS?
