Magic: The Gathering Arena Temporarily Suspends Daily Deals

Wizards of the Coast has temporarily suspended Daily Deals in the Magic: The Gathering Arena store following a technical issue, so players who are interested in purchasing in-game cosmetics will have to wait until the issue gets resolved.

Over on the game's official Twitter account, the announcement was posted: "We are currently experiencing an issue with the Magic: The Gathering Arena store and are currently investigating. We will update you when we have more information." They went on to say that they are continuing to investigate the issue, and that Daily Deals will be suspended for a day.

Players who entered the MTG Arena's store would see that there's a lock over the Daily Deals tab preventing them from accessing it, but according to a recent update, the issue has already been resolved.

The MTG Arena store recently added Daily Deals as a way for players to acquire cosmetics such as in-game card sleeves and alternative-art card styles. The deals are updated every 24 hours, and typically offer a discount ranging from 25 to 75 percent off card styles.

Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths is now available on Magic: The Gathering Arena, and it's also available for tabletop play in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and everywhere else on May 15. Commander 2020 will also be released on May 15.
