"Winning Red Bull Untapped feels pretty great! It's definitely the biggest win in my career so far, and to be honest I haven't won that much in the past few (well, not-so-few!) years, so it's great to have a big finish like this again," Lino Burgold said after winning the final. "I think it's awesome that Red Bull have done an event like this, and it really shows the potential of what you can do in [Magic the Gathering] Arena. Fast-paced, no shuffling... I might even enjoy it more than playing cards... but it's a very different experience."

It's great to see Red Bull and Wizards of the Coast teaming up for this special tournament. Congrats to Burgold and I hope he does well at the Mythic Championship VI.

Burgold is best known for winning the 2009 Rookie of the Year title. and he also finished third in the 2009 German national championships.

The Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship VI (tabletop) will take place in Richmond, Virginia on November 8-10.
