Magic: The Arena To Officially Launch Alongside Throne of Eldraine


Magic: The Gathering Arena, the latest digital version of Wizards of the Coast's popular card game, is currently on open beta but it will officially launch on September 26.

Magic Arena's launch will coincide with the release of Throne of Eldraine, the new fairy tale-themed expansion. All of the Throne of Eldraine cards will be available at Arena's launch but fans can try out some of the cards right now in this week's The Eldraine Courtside Brawl that lets players use four Brawl pre-constructed decks with Throne of Eldraine cards and play in 1v1 format.The four Brawl preconstructed decks will also be available on tabletop when the set offcially releases on October 4, but you can check out the Brawl Commanders here if you're thinking about getting into this fun casual format.

Magic Arena is currently free-to-play on PC but Wizards recently announced that the game will soon be available on the Epic Games store and Mac.

Throne of Eldraine, the 82nd Magic expansion, is set to release on October 4 (Tabletop), and September 26 on Magic Arena. Prerelease events will take place on September 27 to 29.
