Niv-Mizzet has been reborn and this time, the draconic creature isn't just representing the Izzet League; he's five colors!
Wizards of the Coast have revealed the new Niv-Mizzet Reborn card from War of the Spark, and as you can see below, instead of just red and blue, he represents all five colors of Magic: The Gathering.
That's one powerful five-color legendary creature! It's going to be tough to cast but with various lands and Chromatic Lantern, the card could work in Standard. There's also a lot of split cards and two-colored spells recently released so it's going to be fun brewing around with this legend.

A new War of the Spark Artifact card related to Niv-Mizzet has also been revealed, and it's called Firemind Vessel, so this card can help you get the colors you need to cast Niv-Mizzet Reborn.
The War of the Spark previews also revealed a powerful new Sorcery spell and it's a mythic rare. It's called Final of Promise. Check it out:
Wow! That's a great spell to use in a deck full of Sorcery and Instant cards. It will probably see more play in Commander format than Standard but I won't be surprised if spell-heavy decks in Standard will use this card. It looks like the card also reveals a major story event from War of the Spark.

War of the Spark will be released on May 3, 2019. Prerelease events will take place on April 27-28.
