MTG Teferi, Hero of Dominaria Gets Oracle Update With The Release of Guilds of Ravnica

Most Magic: The Gathering players would agree that Teferi, Hero of Dominaria is one of the most powerful cards printed in recent years and it will definitely still play in Standard format after the release of the upcoming set Guilds of Ravnica. Now, it looks like the Dominaria Planeswalker is getting an interesting update with the release of Magic's new set.

As you can see in the card's Oracle text above, they changed Teferi's first ability: instead of "untap two lands", it shows "untap up to two lands" so now, you aren't forced to untap your opponent's lands on your end step if you don't have any tapped lands. I'm sure a lot of players will like this update because that means they won't have to tap two of their lands just so they can have some to untap. They probably made the change to make it less painful for Magic Arena or Magic Online players. Sometimes, it takes an extra few seconds to acknowledge the trigger and perform the tap and untap actions.
