MTG Ravnica Allegiance: Incubation Druid, Priest of Forgotten Gods & More Revealed

Wizards of the Coast

More than half of Magic: The Gathering cards from the upcoming set Ravnica Allegiance have been spoiled already, and today, a few more interesting rares have been revealed, including an elf druid that could get bigger and make more mana, a warrior that can make a 1/1 human everytime you play a multicolored spell, and a human cleric that could let you a card, make players sacrifice a creature, and lose two life. Check out the cards below:

Incubation Druid

This is one of the best two-drops from the upcoming set so far. Sure, it will take a few turns to Adapt it but there are other ways to add +1 +1 counters on this creature.

Priest of Forgotten Gods

This card is best with creature cards with Afterlife. Being able to sacrifice your Afterlife creatures while getting Spirit tokens and triggering this card's effect provides so much value.

Hero of Precinct One

I wouldn't be surprised if this card sees play in aggressive white-based strategies.

Lumbering Battlement

That's an interesting effect that could save your creatures from a board-wipe.

Scorch Mark

Scorch mark deals 2 damage to target creature. If that creature would die this turn, exile it instead.

This is a worse Magma Spray but useful in Limited formats.

Orzhov Impostor

Deathtouch, Afterlife 1

Not a bad two-drop but not that great either.

Earlier today, Wizards of the Coast revealed the tokens for Ravnica Allegiance as well as another batch of cards from the new set.

Pre-release events for Ravnica Allegiance will take place on January 19, 2019; the set will officially be released on January 25.
