My Hero Academia is one of the most popular anime shows right now but it's still nowhere close to reaching the levels of Dragon Ball Super and Naruto. However, Kohei Horikoshi's anime franchise is getting more fans each day, and thanks to a Disney Channel star, the popularity of the kids of class 1-A are skyrocketing.

Over on Twitter, former Disney Channel actress Kim Rhodes responded to a meme that compared her to an anime character from My Hero Academia, and fans were ecstatic about it.

"Bakumom is based off zach n codys mom a conspiracy th—," Rhodes tweeted.

As shown in the comparison above, the Disney mom's white shirt and purple cardigan match the look of Bakugo Katsuki's mom in the anime, and their cropped blond hair makes the comparison much more interesting.

The Disney Channel star's tweet has already been shared by thousands, proving the power of pop culture crossover.

Created by Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia has been running in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014. The series follows Izuku Midoriya, who lives in a world where most people have superpowers known as "quirks", even though he was born without one. Determined to become a superhero, his heroic idol All Might grants him power and he enrolls in a school for professional heroes. The series has been licensed by Viz Media for an English language release since 2015.
