Cyberpunk 2077 Announced For Google Stadia; New Developer Diary Released

The highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 won't just be released for the PC and traditional consoles, the game will also be available on the Google Stadia streaming platform.

Google made the announcement at the Google Gamescom 2019 Stadia presentation today but no date or launch details were revealed, so it's still unclear whether the game will be released on Google Stadia on April 16, 2020, the game's launch date on other platforms.

Today's Stadia Connect also released a new developer diary for Cyberpunk 2077 and it shows a behind-the-scenes look at the game, and Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. You can watch the video below:

Google Stadia is expected to launch in November 2019 in 14 countries, and the only way to get Stadia within its launch window is to purchase a Founder's Edition pack to enable the service, according to Google.

Here's a description of the Cyberpunk 2077 game:

"Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character's cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you."

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020.
