Warner Bros. made a huge bet on Tenet. Variety reports that the film has a massive $205 milion budget, so that means that the film will need to become a huge commercial hit to make a profit. Hopefully, many moviegoers will flock to the theaters see the award-winning director's latest film later this year. The film stars John David Washington and Robert Pattison in a high-stakes epic in the world of international espionage. We know that Nolan's action thriller will feature some mind-bending and time-bending elements like his other film, Inception, but the premise is still basically a mystery. Will moviegoers watch Tenet to find out what it's about? As a huge fan of Nolan's films, I have huge expectations for this film, and it's probably worth watching in IMAX.
Tenet is set to release in theaters on July 17, 2020.
