Magic: The Gathering fans are upset about the recent lack of video coverage for Grand Prix events and even though Channelfireball has taken over the text coverage for MagicFests, they still haven't announced plans to provide video coverage for the upcoming Grand Prix events this year. However, the Mythic Championship in Cleveland will have full video coverage, according to Brian David-Marshall, who confirmed the news on Twitter:

That's good to know that the Mythic Championship will be getting the video coverage it deserves but I hope that they will put more effort into bringing more video coverage for Grand Prix events in MagicFests this year. Despite the $10 million-dollar esports announcement Wizards of the Coast made, it looks like they've made budget cuts for MagicFests but since the Mythic Championships are focused on featuring the 32 players of the Magic Pro League who are each getting $75,000 this year.

The first Mythic Championship (formerly known as "Pro Tour") this year will take place in MagicFest Cleveland on February 22-24. The formats for this event are Ravnica Allegiance Booster Draft and Standard Constructed.
