Theros Beyond Death preview season has kicked off with new Magic: The Gathering cards from the upcoming set being revealed this week. We've already seen "Ashiok, Nightmare Muse" and Ashiok going up against Elspeth in the official Theros Beyond Death trailer that premiered at the 2019 The Game Awards. Now another Ashiok card from Theros Beyond Death has been revealed in Magic: The Gathering Arena, and it's called "Ashiok, Sculptor of Fears".

+2: Draw a card. Each player puts the top two cards of their library into their graveyard.
-5: Put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
-11: Gain control of all creature target opponent controls.
Starting loyalty: 4
The art looks fantastic but the power level is weaker compared to "Ashiok, Nightmare Muse", and that's because this is the Ashiok card that's included in the Ashiok Planesewalker preconstructed deck that's more aimed for beginners, so don't expect this card to be viable in competitive Standard format.
Theros Beyond Death, the 83rd Magic: The Gathering expansion, is set to release on January 24, 2020. Prerelease events will take place on January 17-19.
