Final Planeswalker From Magic: The Gathering's War of The Spark Revealed: Narset, Parter of Veils

Wizards of the Coast have revealed the 36th and final Planeswalker from the new Magic: The Gathering set War of the Spark, and it's called "Narset, Parter of Veils". It's a three-to-cast blue Planeswalker that restricts each opponent from drawing an extra card each turn. That sounds like a useful card for Commander when you have Howling Mine effects (permanents that allow each player to draw an extra card each turn). The new Narset can also help you dig for a noncreature, nonland card from your deck with its -2 loyalty ability.

Like all the other Planeswalkers in the set, Narset has a signature spell in War of the Spark, and it's called Narset's Reversal. It's a spell that can copy any player's spell and return it to its owner's hand. It's a decent tempo card that will probably also see play in Commander.

War of the Spark will be released on May 3, 2019. Prerelease events will take place on April 27-28. The War of the Spark: Ravnica novel will be released in the U.S. on April 23. It is also available on audiobook.
