There's a rivalry between two of the best Valorant teams in North America, TSM and Sentinels, and trashtalk between two players just ignited a feud on Twitter, and this is what happened to former CS:GO pros turned Valorant pros Matt 'WARDELL' Yu of TSM and Shahzeb 'ShahZam' Khan of Sentinels.
The feud sparked when Sentinels posted a clip of ShahZam talking about his thoughts about TSM. In the clip, ShahZam says that he believes Sentinels is more consistent than TSM, and admits that he likes to see them lose.
WARDELL responded with an insult on Twitter, saying, "Who knew rats can talk? LMAO". ShahZam defended the post, and asked WARDELL, "Why are you so mad?"
However, this just sparked the feud more with WARDELL responding to the Sentinels player by joking about ShahZam's hair, saying that "it's not silver, it's platinum", and ShahZam responded by playfully accusing WARDELL of "having a crush" on him.
Members of TSM and Sentinels have the biggest Valorant rivalry in the world, and the recent feud just sparked it up more, showing us that even the highest level of esports, trash talk can be a common thing between two popular players. Hopefully, we'll see a rematch between two great teams.
