Players can sign up early for the closed beta, which will be released on October 29, and sign-ups are going on until the end of the beta, on November 9. To sign up for the closed beta, visit playmagiclegends.com, and at the website, players will have to fill out some personal details and download the ARC client software. The prerelease beta is open to the public so anyone can sign up. Those who are accepted will receive an email with the information and a specialty code required to join on release day, and the codes don't appear to be limited. Once players have the code, they should be able to log in the closed beta of Magic: Legends.

The official description of Magic: Legends reads:

An ancient force moves in the darkness, requiring adventurers to traverse various planes of the Magic: The Gathering Multiverse and gather the power needed to fight this evil. Developed by Cryptic Studios and published by Perfect World Entertainment, players will choose their path through the planes while collecting and upgrading a multitude of spells to create a powerful spell library. Players control the chaos of spell-slinging combat as they fight to save the Multiverse from its greatest threats yet

Magic: Legends will be available for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in Spring 2021. It's currently in Close Alpha.
