It's been 12 years since fans saw Samurai Jack, but the time-travelling Samurai is back for a final season, and on Adult Swim no less. A new sneak peek has Jack battling a whole a bunch of Beetle Drones while he's heavily clad in futuristic samurai armor and wielding a whole arsenal of new-age weapons.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the season is said to make a time-jump of up to 50 years, and Jack hasn't aged a day — a side-effect to time travel. The battle with the Drones seems to be very reminiscent of Jack's first battle in season one, where a bunch of intelligent dogs ask him to fend off an army of the same drones.
Jack seems to be well-adept in the future this time around, driving his own war-bike and using a futuristic battle staff. Very little is seen of Jack wielding his iconic katana, however.

The final season for Samurai Jack is set to come out March 11 on Adult Swim.
