Is Zack Snyder Returning To Finish Justice League?

After a personal family tragedy, Zack Snyder had to leave the director's chair for Justice League and pass it over to Joss Whedon. The movie had underwent a ‘substantial' amount of reshoots under Whedon's helm, but news has it that Snyder will be coming back to finish the movie.

The rumor comes from WBUT7 on Reddit, and he writes:

"There have been rumors around the office and around the levels that Zack Snyder will soon return to finish up his movie. Although these are in no way confirmed, people have been talking about how he may come in within the next month or so to finalize the product and promote it."

For now we should just take this information with a grain of salt, as the source is unverified, but with the way WBUT7 has been posting regularly on the page, there could be some truth to what he's saying.

As of now, I can imagine two reactions from fans who will read the news. One part will be pleased to see Snyder coming back and putting his finishing touches on the project. Another part will complain that Whedon has been pulled out of the project, and the movie will come back to Snyder's original (and probably gritty) version of the movie.

Looking at all the rumors, a lot of bad news has definitely been attached to Justice League befor Joss Whedon came onboard. If Snyder really is coming back, hopefully he is more open to Whedon's changes, and we'll end up with a Justice League movie that's as big as Wonder Woman.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
