Is The Symbiote Taking Over Eddie Brock In This Fight Scene From The Set Of Venom?

Sony had successfully launched a new Spider-Man franchise thanks to Marvel Studios, and now they want to move forward with their Venom spinoff with Tom Hardy as the main star. Some new set photos have come out courtesy of Just Jared, and it has Eddie Brock battered and bruised in a fight with actor Scott Haze.

With the villain for Venom said to be Carnage, we're probably looking at a scene of Brock pre-symbiote. There is, however, an image of Hardy holding up Haze with a single hand—a classic super-powered villain move—I'm guessing this is a part of the movie where the symbiote takes over, and Haze's character is going to be Venom's first victim.

Some people are guessing that Haze could be playing Carnage in the film, but with Carnage being the main villain, I'm guessing he would be played by the higher profiled actor in the cast—Riz Ahmed. Ahmed's role has not been revealed, but a lot of people are convinced that he'll be playing Carnage.

Then again, I could be wrong.

My best guess is that Haze is playing someone who torments Brock regularly, and when Brock finally gets his hands on the symbiote for the first time, Haze's character will be the first one to go.

Venom comes out Oct. 5, 2018.
