Is The Indominus Going To Return For Jurassic World 2?

The Indominus Rex was the big bad of the first Jurassic World movie, but we basically saw the end of it by the time the film was done. A new poster for Jurassic World 2 is teasing another predator dinosaur — could it be the Indominus Rex?

To be honest, I can't really tell with just the eye, but the Indominus making a return could very well be possible. For one, BD Wong's character was able to escape the island with his dinosaur embryos before anything happened to him, so they very well have enough resources to re-engineer a new one. There's also the possibility of a flashback exploring the growth of the Indominus — before it escaped.

This is just my crazy theory, but what if the Indominus is like a Xenomorph from Alien, and a hybrid dinosaur bursts out of the Mosasaurus shortly after it ate the Indominus? Wouldn't that be crazy? By the way, Alien: Covenant comes out today.

After the majesty that was Rexy (the T-Rex) in the first movie, the Jurassic franchise has been trying to top her with increasingly dangerous dinosaurs. What makes the Indominus more superior? Longer arms.

Jurassic World 2 comes out June 22, 2018.
