Is Mark Strong Going to be in Bond 25?

Mark Strong may have played the lovable Merlin in the Kingsman franchise, but it looks like he's moving over to the world of James Bond now.

Strong's trainer Giacomo Farci has shared this video of Strong training on Instagram, and though the video seems to have been deleted, ScreenRant was wise enough to get a screenshot of the caption. Farci teases that him and Strong are "working on a new project" and he also included several hashtags alluding to Bond 25.

With rumors going out that the movie is actually looking for a woman to play the villain this time around, a lot of people guess that Strong could play the villain's muscle; much like Dave Bautista in Spectre or Odd Job in Goldfinger. With Strong playing the good guy in his more recent movies, I'd actually want to see him come back to his villain roles.

Interestingly enough, Strong is also set to play the villain in the DCEU's Shazam! movie, and if he does end up playing a bad guy in Bond 25, it would be his second villain role for 2019. I think he's a fantastic actor, and I would pay to see him face off with Daniel Craig's James Bond any day.

Bond 25 is set to come out Nov. 8, 2019.
