Injustice 2 Legendary Edition Revealed By Retailers

It looks like Injustice 2 is getting a Game of the Year-like re-release and it's gonna be legendary. Though not officially revealed by Warner Bros. or NetherRealm Studios, several retailers have shown advertisements for a new version of the game called Injustice 2 Legendary Edition.

According to The Nerd Mag, a Malaysian retailer named Impulse has released an advertisement about the Injustice 2 Legendary Edition. Like similar re-releases, this version of the game will supposedly come with all of the DLC and premiere skins. This includes Red Hood, The Atom, Hellboy, and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, among others. It will supposedly come with a special Steelcase.

There was also a listing from Amazon, though it only lists a digital release. While the image is wrong - showing The Sims 4 of all things - the description for the re-release was spot on:

POWER UP AND BUILD THE ULTIMATE VERSION OF YOUR FAVORITE DC LEGENDS IN INJUSTICE 2 – WINNER OF IGN'S BEST FIGHTING GAME OF 2017. INCLUDES 10 ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS INCLUDING DARKSEID, HELLBOY, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES PLUS 5 PREMIERE SKINS.

Considering how the first Injustice received an Ultimate Edition with all of the DLC, this isn't a huge surprise. Still, it's a worthwhile package when you consider how good the base game is. Each DLC character plays well, with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles providing more fun than expected.

Injustice 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. No release date for the Legendary Edition has been revealed. The aforementioned advertisement states that it will come out on March 28.
