Hugh Jackman Reveals Which Scene In Logan Made Him Cry

Logan was a powerful and intense comicbook movie. James Mangold's film was just a flurry of bloody action sequences, it was also an in-depth look into Hugh Jackman's withered Wolverine.

With the film scheduled to release on Blu-Ray and DVD by in a few more days, Jackman opens to the public which scene made him most emotional. Speaking in an interview in a panel during the screening of Logan Noir (via The Hollywood Reporter), Jackman talked about how he had cried the very first time when coming across the scene where Dafne Keen's Laura moves the cross on the grave of Logan to turn it into an X.

"When I read it, I thought 'that's beautiful.' It seemed very poetic on the page. And when I saw it, I cried. I sat next to Patrick Stewart. We saw it for the first time, and both of us wept."

Logan's death was a powerful moment for fans and Laura's decision to change the position of the mutant's grave marker was a good way to close the scene. It's hard not to love Logan's character study and the expanse of its emotional exploration.

Logan releases on Blu-Ray, DVD, Ultra HD and 4K on May 23.
