Howard the Duck Becomes Juggernaut in Marvel's Cosmic Ghost Rider

No one expected Donny Cates' Thanos to take off like it did but the fact that it got a Cosmic Ghost Rider spin-off goes to show how popular his run has become, even if though it wasn't that long. The mini-series, which focuses on a future version of former Punisher turned Ghost Rider Frank Castle, promises to be even crazier.

How crazy? In the third issue of the five-issue mini-series, a new version of the Guardians of the Galaxy is revealed and it has an amazingly mad lineup.

Cable, of X-Force fame, seems to be the leader and is joined by a weird hybrid of Rocket and Groot, a new version of Major Victory who looks like America Chavez, and lastly, Howard the Duck as Juggernaut. Or as Cates confirmed on his Twitter, Juggerduck.

So yeah, fans better keep their eye on this mini-series. Cates has been a huge get for Marvel with his current run on Venom already getting tons of praise from fans and critics alike. He has even more comics coming from Marvel, including Death of the Inhumans and a Thanos Legacy one-shot that ties-in to his run and the Infinity Wars event.

Cosmic Ghost Rider #3 comes out this September. The first issue comes out in July.
