Here's How Hela's Thor: Ragnarok Headdress Was Created

The headdress that Cate Blanchett wears while playing Hela in Thor: Ragnarok is one of the most beautiful props I've seen in recent Marvel Cinematic Universe history. It even looks cooler than Angelina Jolie's Maleficent headdress.

Now, Adam Savage (Mythbusters) and his team at the Tested YouTube channel, have revealed how they made Hela's headdress, which is actually a physical prop. It turns out that it was made using 3D printers.

According to Jose Hernandez of Ironhead Studios, the headpiece and antlers were 3D printed, designed based on an accurate model of Cate's head, and then assembled by hand. The result looks awesome.

You can watch the video below to see how the headpiece was made:

The video also revealed that they created designs for Black Manta for the upcoming Aquaman film.

Thor: Ragnarok is now showing in theaters.
